Scroll Glitch in Messages Bar on Macs

Am I the only one who can't scroll down in past messages on a Mac?

Just checked on my Mac and my old messages can be found in the archive section by using those three lines on the top right hand corner just after the search bar

I have experienced this also and looking at my archived messages I found 1 message there. This has only been happening fairly recently. I have to work on my phone to be able to scroll down for older messages. Why has this changed?
