Suggestions for Complimentary Items for Long-Staying Guests

Hi everyone! I’d love your advice on complimentary items for guests staying a week or more. Currently, I provide daily breakfast, a mineral water bottle each day, free cleanup of room and bathroom on every second day, and a snack board at check-in. Do you think I’m going the extra mile, or is there anything else I’m expected to provide on a daily basis? Your insights would mean a lot!

This sounds more like a bed-and-breakfast style setup and quite a bit of effort! In the long run, it might become exhausting if you want the place to run more independently. For a week-long stay, this would mean being there daily to provide breakfast. Do you charge extra for it, or is it more of a surprise treat?

Personally, I usually leave a bottle of wine or a jar of candy for guests. If they’re not into wine, they just leave it, but they always appreciate the gesture. I remember how much my husband and I enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine while traveling and staying in an Airbnb, it really made our stay feel special!
