Support is not aware of country specifics concerning payments

I tried book an apartment in Finland. My credit card was accepted but the confirmation phase with the bank did not succeed because the airbnb application does not provide the usual alternatives. My bank is Nordea and for the confirmations I use the Nordea ID device, which is not supported by airbnb.

 

I have tried to complain about this but I am receiving only standard answers basically repeating that a confirmation is required bla bla.

 

It looks like in the support team airbnb doesn't have anyone knowing the country specifics concerning payments.

You can't expect a global customer services to understand which payment methods are allowed in each country @Santtu1 

 

Normally when you set up a profile it lets you know which payment methods are allowed in your county.

 

Visa and Mastercard are two of the most commonly used but your can also use PayPal. @Santtu1  Try changing it to one of those .
