Good morning,
My guest has booked several months out and selected the option to pay in full. She messaged me a few days later saying she meant to select the payment plan option and is asking for a partial refund for the difference until she can make the rest of the payments. Would this mean that I would be manually monitoring the payment plan? Can she switch to the payment plan with this reservation, or does she need to cancel and rebook, selecting the correct payment option at that time?
Thank you,
Heather

I believe she needs to cancel & rebook as Airbnb has total control of any payment plan that is offered. She just needs to be sure she is within your free cancellation period. It looks like you are on Instant Book? You should probably turn IB off while she is doing this, so someone else doesn't book the dates. Turn IB back on after she completes the new reservation.

Hi @Heather2043 😊,

Did you follow Joan's suggestion? How did you manage it?
If you could let us know, I’m sure other hosts would find this helpful!
