Hey:
Does anyone have a good partnership/relationship with booking.com? They are driving me nuts with double booking, on their website? I mean... I am fit to be tied!

@Samuel1489 You can also set one website for instant booking and the other for booking REQUEST -- that way you have time to sync the calendars and advise the requesting client that the property has been booked.
Yes, indeed.
The double booking is on their website. They are allowing guests to double book on their website.
No corresponding on Airbnb. Strange!!
And their go-to solution is the usual bouncing or run around.
@Samuel1489 the calendars unfortunately only sync every few hours - if you received the double bookings on the same day, it's likely because the second booking happened before the next automatic calendar sync took place.
I try to run a manual sync each time after I get a booking (just to make sure the other website is updated sooner), but one can easily forget to do this.
If it becomes a big problem for you over time, you may have to consider using a property management system that integrates all of your listings (unfortunately paying for a PMS can be quite expensive for an individual property host).
Thank you for your insightful response.
