Tips for keeping my indoor cats safe?

Hi! I am new and just starting to rent a spare room in my home. I do have two clean indoor only orange cats. It is in description and kept out of the rental space, but wanted to know if there were any tips to keep them  safe and not let out. I have seen door signs about closing the door etc.. and plan to get that. Also just informing the  guest to please don't let them get out, that they may be curious of people going in and out. I also have a two door system that works in favor, one door going into the garage and then outside, which guests will use.

How have you found hosting so far? I'm curious what you decided on to communicate to guests not to let the cats out!

Are they usually escape artists (the cats, not the guests 😅)?

The best to keep your cats safe as you say is to keep them out of communal areas shared with the guest . If you do this you know your house cats will be safe @Maranda16
