Transfer airbnb reservation

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am unable to make my booking. I would like to transfer my reservation to someone else. Can you help me with this process?

Hi @Marijke55,

Unfortunately you cannot transfer a reservation to someone else and the booking guest needs to stay for the reservation.  You will likely need to cancel the reservation.  Have you explained the issue to the host as they may waive their cancellation policy especially if you have someone who will book the listing during the same dates that you had booked?
