Trying to find someone who had same experience with a Host.

We stayed at a certain location in Fort Pierce, FL during the month of June 2025 and we are trying to get in touch with someone named Brandon who left a review and seems to have joined AirBNB only on month ago. Does anyone have any idea how to go about getting in contact with someone through this platform?

I'm just wondering whether the system is protecting the parties in cases where it senses that there may be a disagreement @Tara0

But I could be way off ...

@Shelley159 never seen that happen before, (and there have been many disagreements!), so it seems more likely this host has been suspended or deleted.

Just to make sure I am understanding correctly.

You were a Guest trying to catch up with another Guest?

If the same Airbnb Host.  You could contact the Host.  Ask if he would contact Brandon and refer Brandon to this post if he wants to connect

If totally separate then Privacy Laws prohibit Airbnb from making any information public that the Guest has not agreed to be public.

@Marie8425

I don't think @Adam2418 would want to contact this Host, since the Host filed a damage claim against @Adam2418  for smoking inside the property.

Hi @Adam2418

No, Airbnb does not allow guests to message other guests, even if they’ve stayed with the same host.

So Airbnb has done nothing to help with removing these people or their review. I guess if someone blatantly lies about their guests and you have two different people with experiences that are the same, Airbnb does not care and will side with the host. It's really sad that this is how they choose to operate when people that have been with them for years and spent thousands, have a legitimate complaint and the least we wanted from this was for that review to be removed so we could continue using this service. It was fun while it lasted I guess. Good luck to anyone that chooses to stay with this company. I really hope you have a better experience.

In case you do wish to book through Airbnb again in the future @Adam2418, keep in mind that not all hosts will reject a guest's booking request if there's one negative review (the same way guests continue to book listings with some negative reviews - one can easily see when a review looks off-trend).

Also, you can still automatically book listings that are set to Instant Book (just apply the Instant Book filter when you search). Even the Instant Book listings that are set to require a "good track record" will automatically accept you, as you continue to meet the criteria.

Hosts and guests get unfair reviews from time to time, the system is set up to take that into account.

I understand but I don't get how they have evidence that backs up our claims about how these people tried to essentially extort money from us AND commit fraud and not only are they not removed or at least suspended from the platform but Airbnb won't even remove their review. It makes one weary of continuing to use a platform that makes you second guess every decision and wonder every time if the next person will be trying to scam you.

@Adam2418

Your post has received a lot of responses from hosts as we too feel that what has happened is not fair.  Both hosts and guests are being unfairly treated recently as everything is handled by AI and it's creating a lot of unrest on both sides.

Some of us think that the host in question may have been suspended as their listing no longer appears when we go to check under their profil.  Everyone here has access to each others profils - beit as a guest or as a host.   Have you contacted CS recently to ask them about this host. This may give you grounds to have this severe review taken down?

Have you tried giving your side of the story to the review left by this host?  You are entitled to set the record straight if you want.

Yes, we have spoken with numerous CS representatives about everything that happened and even told them about the review left by Brandon right after about how they straight up asked him to commit fraud and was locked out of the property when he refused. I am not allowed to talk to this other individual apparently so I cannot ask them about it further.

I have responded to the hosts review of us as guest telling my side of the story and we also have our own witnesses that can back up our side but I cannot respond to the review she left on us as guests.

We might be willing to still use Airbnb by staying with Hosts that we have stayed with prior and hope nothing goes wrong but I honestly don't know if it's worth the stress.

Also, yes, it seems like you cannot access the Hosts profile but the co-host who I believe spoke with Brandon and asked him to lie, is still up on AirBNB SND the listing for the property is still up so it doesn't seem like it was fully investigated.

You can also flag the Co Host Profile if you wish...not sure if that will do anything or not? You can also flag the listing:

scroll down on the listing page to the bottom

Click the Co Host photo

Click the flag icon (Report XXX)

Thanks for the suggestion. I might try his as well as I previously flagged hers although I don't see a lot happening with that.

Thanks for the help everyone. We will never know the outcome I guess because our account is now deleted. To be fair we requested a deactivation or deletion after all this went down because frankly, we were really upset, and rightly so. It just seems weird with the timing and that it just happened now when we were pressing them and asking lots of questions. Also it just happens suddenly with no warning at anytime Airbnb wants to so that's fun!

When we try to look for the hosts listing, we cannot find anything but might just be missing it. Hopefully Airbnb did the right thing and removed them but I won't hold my breath.

I wish you all the best of luck, truly. I hope Airbnb turns it around and stops treating guests and some hosts like they don't matter and their concerns and questions aren't valid.
