Unacceptable guests - Airbnb Community

Unacceptable guests

Hello, I have had back to back unacceptable guests through airbnb. One couple were drug addicts and what happened was gut wrenching. The second family were scammers and broke multiple rules then wanted money back. Just wondering how much this happens to other hosts?

Considering leaving this platform as I rent long term (one month or more). When I rent outside this platform, I do screening with criminal, financial and evictions to avoid issues.
