How long have you been hosting together and what has inspired your family to start hosting? What has been the most rewarding part of your journey so far? 😍

We've been hosting for 8 years today!  This award was a great birthday present ☺️

It's just me and my two daughters. It's been so fun. I'm the hostess and they take car of the communication with the gests and all the paperwork.

We decided to host to have the chance to help people to know our beautiful island.

The most rewarding part of hosting has been the contact with people from all over the world and the exchange of experiences and cultures.

We are in Azores, a small island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and we already had guests from Australia, United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, etc.

It's been so fun this adventure of hosting. It's always a beautiful adventure.

We've had a few repeat guests and some of them even become friends.

Grazie Lizzi, e grazie a voi tutti di AirBnB che ci date l’opportunità di crescere insieme a voi. Grazie anche a tutti gli ospiti, che hanno apprezzato di essere ospiti da noi della casa vacanze. “L’ADM addumammà “ e farmi diventare Super Host,  l’ADM è frutto di un sacrificio personale e di intenso mio lavoro di mesi  per renderla fruibile al meglio, sono veramente contento del risultato raggiunto dopo un anno di impegno. Il nome At Mom’s , da mamma, addumammà (in dialetto napoletano)” esprime l’affetto con cui accogliamo i nostri ospiti, come con l’affetto di una madre che offre protezione e sicurezza. Il nostro motto è (dico nostro perché con me ci sta la brava CoHost mia figlia Alessandra “diamo largo ai giovani”) l’importanza di far conoscere il nostro territorio attraverso chi lo vive. E il nostro territorio offre: un mare di cultura, storia, paesaggi, panorami cibo e tradizioni. Ed è per questo oltre a dare l’appartamento semplice, ma funzionale e spazioso, con il suo splendido balcone sul golfo di Napoli, da cui ammirare le isole di Capri e Ischia, Napoli e la penisola sorrentina alla luce di splendidi tramonti sul mare, ci piace fornire consigli utili per soggiornare bene, ma anche per raggiungere le località di maggiore interesse vicine a noi nel migliore dei modi e in maniera veloce. Il mio primo lavoro è quello di fotoreporter e di fotografo per aziende e questo mi ha aiutato molto a fare promozione dei luoghi e della casa. Per questo  consiglio a tutti di dare spazio all’immaginazione e affidarsi a professionisti per rappresentare il proprio spazio e i luoghi vicini come faccio io attraverso le mie foto. Anche se poi la foto di copertina è una foto che feci con lo smartphone dal balcone della casa in un momento irripetibile. Grazie ancora di avermi accolto tra voi e a presto

We are in Maine, USA🇺🇸 right next to Acadia National Park. Bass Harbor is where the best lobster in the world is caught 😃 The outdoors and nature are what we are all about and we are on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island. We enjoy hiking and just being one with the outdoors, and here is a great place to do that!

@Aaron1270 we noticed a few tips related to reviews on the other thread and I'm so glad to say that those tips are going to help many Hosts visiting us. Thank you Aaron for sharing them with us and many congratulations for your Superhost status.

Maine and Acadia National Park must offer some amazing scenery. Have you discovered any favorite hiking spots or hidden gems around Bass Harbor that you recommend your guests to explore? 😉
