Hello Superhosts!

I am Alexander, and I've been living in Paphos, Cyprus for the last 33 years. I have always enjoyed meeting new people and familiarising myself with other cultures. This is, essentially, why I've decided to become a part-time Airbnb host.

Over the years, I have acquired a deep discernment of the relationship the home plays in our emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing. I'm obsessed with traveling - in addition to having traveled all over the Cyprus, I've visited fifteen countries in total in Asia and Europe.

Well every trip had a unique charm! But top 3 destinations are Italy!, France!, and Austria!

Hi everyone. Again I received SuperHost status from Airbnb, very excited about the SuperHost status. 

I am from Satara city in India. I took early retirement and constructed farmhouse using clay building materials from Wienerberger company. There are six rooms with attached bathroom and common sitting area and common kitchen. 

We also serve home cooked local foods fresh from our farm. 

My property is close to national highway so long drive travellers as well as tourists select our property. There are many hills, hill stations, forts, dams, rivers and ancient monuments within an hour's reach. 

We would love to welcome you all to my Viyoddha Homestay near Satara city.

Hello fellow Superhosts! I’m super-stoked to have made the superhost badge! I love Airbnb and have used it for both travelling and hosting for many years. But I finally hosted enough in our new dedicated Airbnb property to make superhost! Our property is on Costa Del Sol, Spain, with the sunniest clime in Europe! Culture, beaches and skiing two hours away in the Sierra Nevada. Malaga is a great city, small enough to be walkable but large enough to have great restaurants and museums, including the Apartment where Pablo Picasso was born! Looking forward to networking with you fellow Superhosts!

I just saw an email from Airbnb making me a superhost. I am so excited as it’s been an eventful year and it was with great trepidation that I opened my precious home in the mountains to host guests. It’s been hard as I live in the city and manage it sitting far away and the house is in a remote location. But happy to see that the hard work was recognised. Nix here, excited to be reaching out to fellow hosts. 3 x Superhost status and yes the hard work has paid off. We live on a smallholding in Plettenberg Bay South Africa and have an almost 💯 off grid cottage that we self manage.

Thank you Lizzie, for your warm welcome.  And thank you, Airbnb, for your magnificent platform and support, without which I would never have achieved Superhost status. 

I am amazed what what we have achieved in the last 12 months, since joining Airbnb and in the 12 months prior to that, when we started with a shed that was falling down, literally!  It was so bad that I had to hook a chain around the toplate of the frame, and haul the whole shebang upright with the farm tractor until it was square, while the builder nailed the crossbraces into place.

In addition I had a lot of help from family and friends to make the studio extraordinary.  There is my daughter who is dominant in the landscape design world on the East Coast of Australia, my grandaughter-in-law whose interior decorating skills are earning her a significant independant income, my dear oldest friend whose interior design skills are revered amongst the rich and famous of Sydney society, my extraordinary young assistants who not only helped build the external infrastructure and plant the garden but who also now maintain it, and the most important person of all involved in the whole project, my builder, not to mention the undying assistance of my dear naighbours who welcome and support guests when I am absent.

Your accolades are totally unexpected, but are welcomed as recognition of the effort involved in creating and running a professional holiday rental, and of Airbnb's dominance in the sector. 

I am in total awe of Airbnb's support and thank you, for our successes, guest by guest, week by week of both of our sincere and sustained effort to be the best.
