This happened in 2024 when I was travelling with my sister in Orlando.
We booked a place that was hosted by J**l, and has confirmed details about luggage storage (10am and 11:30pm, he agreed and was paid for this). When we arrived Joel's place on the day at 10am, he offered to let us in early, so we accepted. And things went smoothly as it should when we went back for our luggage.
However not long after we leftJ**l made a fake review like this: "Guest is very hard to reach, came 3 hours early and come back at 11:30pm for luggage." This is a complete lie as: 1.J**l offered early check-in himself. 2.J**l knew that we will be late, he has agreed and was paid for that. 3. J**l has never ask us anything that requires a response in the fist place.
I tried reporting the host and submitted a removal request twice, they were all turned down by "not againt content policy" while Airbnb's policy clearly says "Trust is the corner stone of Airbnb community". I just really couldn't believe that Airbnb choose to stand with a liar. What else should I try or should i just never use Airbnb again?
