Where do I edit the content of the "variables" avaiable in messages / quick replies? Ex. I was using a "Check in Instructions" variable and it had very old information in it.

I removed the variable from my messages to solve the problem for the meantime, but can't seem to find where I would edit the content and results from using a variable.   Where do I find that?

If you are using shortcuts in your messages (blue text) these pull information directly from your listing to fill that information in the message. If your listing has outdated check-in instructions (in your Arrival Guide), it will still populate your messages with that outdated information. You need to go to your listing and make sure the information is current. Then when you apply a shortcut in a message, it will pull the correct information from the listing.

You would need to update your check-in information on the listing in the Arrival Guide in order for the information in the message to be correct when using shortcuts.

@Joan2709 Actually that's not it.  I definitely read through every single step in my check in instructions.  What was being pulled by the {variable} were check in instructions circa 2019!   I have since updated based on the new check in instructions method, have pictures and reviewed every text, every step of the way.   I removed that variable from my automessage because it was causing problems.  And I can't find ANYWHERE on my listing that this information still remains!  Check in instructions are the only place they would have been and they are definitely not there now.   I am confused about what to do to get it correct!

No I haven't @Elisa .  I looked in this location before any other location.  The instructions for arrival in check in are accurate and do not include the statements that were placed in by the [check in instructions} variable.  The instructions that were added in were very very old - from my original listings, way before there was a check in instructions form like we have today.   I don't know what to do.  for the time being I'm not using that variable because its pulling from some place I can't seem to touch.

Can you take a screen shot of the"variable" that is incorrect - the shortcut you are using and post here? It is difficult to troubleshoot without being able to see your listing on the Host side.

What specific information is wrong? What shortcuts are incorrect? 

Your Arrival Guide is where all the information is normally populated from in the messages/shortcuts. Did you have a previous listing that has been Hidden?

Can you take a screen shot of one of the messages that is incorrect and post here?
