Why would Airbn allow a five star to a complete filthy guest and not allow us to alarm other hosts out there before this person destroys their house like she did ours.

We had JL(filthy guest) make a three month reservation for herself and two kids only. This guest, broke our woodburning fireplace glass and never told us about it, had someone replace it, but we know it is not ours because ours had a smoky design and this glass is clear. Removed our sliding doors and never put them back, dogs peed on our wood floors. Left front doors unlocked doors for a couple days, misplaced keys.  Left our house key under mat for complete strangers to access our home. Left dishes in the sink which she left in a disgusting state. Never in the two months she stayed in our home did she clean the dryer lint which could have caused a fire specially in our log house, never swept the house or cleaned anything for that matter when she vacated. Lied about multiple things. Invited groups of families to stay in our home while charging them extra which is a violation of Airbnb rules and had the nerve to ask us if we would consider this after we told her that we had no choice but to shorten her stay by one month. It is beyond our comprehension why she had a five star rating and our review is not being posted. This guest was supposed to vacate 4/9/26, instead of being completely out by 11:00 on this date, she stayed an extra night and was pulling a ton of furniture she brought in on 4/10/26 and did not finish removing everything including roosters until 6:00 p.m. on 4/10/26 and never ever lifted a finger to clean anything at all. To top it off our cameras caught her father peeing on our driveway and Airbnb has not allowed us to collect any damage deposit or cleaning fees and it is already 5/1/26. There is something COMPLETELY wrong with this stressful situation.

Thank you Emiel1, I am not sure how to attach the listing to my profile. My husband is the one that set it up so I don't know if this is the reason why you are not seeing it. Can I share the name of the guest or our address for you to see it?  

 

I was told that the guest has 24 hours to reply to my review, but I am not seeing her reply.
