Guest requested change dates with one day before arrival
I assume the guest send you a change request (using the "change option" on the reservation) ?
You are not obliged to accept the request.
What are the details of the change ?

@Emilie As it turns out it doesn't matter whether you decline or accept a booking. The chances are if you accept they won't turn up again (I asked for change of flight details which they would not produce) which shows they were not genuine. If you decline, or they do not cancel or show up the host loses out all round even though you have a 7 day policy in place. What is the point of having that when a guest knows if they do nothing, they don't lose a cent. What is the purpose of the policy if it doesn't also protect you for this? This is a massive loophole and will encourage more of this behaviour. Surely, other hosts must be getting stung with this loss.
@Sandra7966 I’m not sure I understand what happened—could you share a bit more? This will help other hosts give additional advice.
