If I closed some days and enter a note, then I go back into those dates, I cannot delete the note. Can someone advise what the procedure is to delete and existing note.

Believe it or not....
The only way to delete the note is to turn on Professional Hosting Tools and edit/delete the note in the Multicalendar view:
Yes...Airbnb in their "infinite wisdom" has decided if you add a note to a blocked date and then subsequently unblock it - they remove the note.
Provide feedback to Airbnb as to why this is just plain stupid.
