Hı mu name is Adel from Türkey..
When we first put up our listing on Airbnb, there were a number of enquiries coming in everyday. But since the last 5-6 days, there's a sudden halt in enquiries.
I wonder if anyone encountered the same issue recently? Is it something wrong with my listing?
Some enlightenment from other Hosts/Airbnb would be of great help!
Thank you 🌷🙏👋
Hello @Adel2330
I went onto your profile and can see that you have 5 listings - all with the same cover photo - from afar it looks like a runway for planes so was rather confused?
I would change that first photo if you are providing apartments and those other 4 photos are equally important. You need to show guests at first glance what you're offering.
Your calendar is open so that 's fine and am able to book just one night but then I see that in the description you say this:
We do not provide daily accommodation.!!.Please contact the host before sending a booking request.🌷
I'm confused, does this mean you don't do 1 night stays or does it mean something else? some guests don't want to contact the host before booking so we need to be sure that our settings are correct to make the booking fluid for guests.
Hello @Adel2330,
I'm sorry to hear about this frustrating situation. I’m confident that with everyone’s help, we’ll be able to turn things around. Did you see Joelle’s comment? She’s offering some great advice. Thank you for reaching out!
I'm going to tag a few members to see if together we can give you all the resources you need: @Andrew-and-Jeremy0, @Nathan146, @Adel2330, @Joey28 and @Tokunbo0.
Best,
Alex
I had that happen once. As a 5 year super host, I was generally always booked. Then, suddenly, crickets.
Everything on my account looked normal. It showed "listed." I even checked all my other 3rd party apps to see if they showed "not listed" or were causing the issue. After much research, I was able to confirm my listing was "not listed" by searching for my property as a guest using location maps on Airbnb. My property did not show up on the Airbnb map.
So, I contacted Airbnb and received a generic customer service response that Airbnb from time to time takes properties offline (unlilsts them) while they are analyzing the listing for potential issues. No other explanation. Airbnb does not give hosts a heads up. The process is just "housekeeping" per Airbnb support (like its no big deal). So, I kept contacting customer service nearly daily and kept getting the same response (it could take about 2 weeks, no explanation, it is just normal business process, etc.).
Then about 2 weeks after contacting Airbnb, my property magically was re-listed and the reservations started flowing in. Airbnb never sent an explanation or even a message letting me know my property was back online.
I hope perhaps this is what happened to you and it will be an "easy" fix. Start by seeing if your property shows up on the Airbnb map.
