late cancellation

late cancellation

Due to a plumbing issue, our place cannot be occupied until the plumbing is repaired. This all happened within 4 hours of guest arrival.  We finally made contact and there is no issue between us and the guest, but, I am unable to find a way to handle this with AirBnB. What is a (the) proper way to handle this?

Cathy969 If you and the guest have resolved the issue then there is no need to involve Airbnb. a small gift like a meal out or movie tickets etcetera should be offered to the guests plus communication and apologies, otherwise just continue on ... H

What @Helen744 said.  You're already where you need to be once the guest is happy.
