@Zoya27 Welcome to the hosting world — it’s great that you’re thinking this through before jumping in.
Since your apartment is spacious and in Greater Noida (which is growing fast!), both Airbnb and long-term rentals have their pros — it really depends on what suits your lifestyle and goals.
Here are a few quick pointers:
-Airbnb Hosting:
More income potential, especially if your place is nicely done and in a decent location.
You’ll need to manage cleaning, guest communication, and frequent turnovers.
Works well if you're nearby or have someone who can help manage check-ins and maintenance.
You can block dates if you ever want to use the apartment yourself.
-Normal Rent (Long-Term):
Fixed monthly income and less involvement.
No hassle of furnishing or constant cleaning.
But also, less flexibility — once rented, you can’t use it or adjust prices.
If you enjoy hospitality, want to furnish the place nicely, and are okay with some effort, Airbnb can be rewarding.
But if you prefer stable income with less involvement, long-term renting might suit you better.
Either way, you’re asking the right questions — feel free to share more about your apartment setup or ask anything specific.
We’re happy to help! 😊

Hello @Zoya27 ,
You’re asking a question that only you can truly answer, because it depends on many factors – for example, how involved and active you want to be, and what your expectations are.
Some hosts, by the way, switch between mid-term rentals in the low season and Airbnb or similar platforms during the high season.
I think the best approach is to try and see what works for you. Just keep in mind that once you accept a reservation, there’s no going back. Cancelling a reservation is a bad option, so avoid double bookings. If you plan to try more than one method, make sure to allocate different dates in your calendar.
Also, with the current photos, it will be difficult to get bookings on Airbnb. Why upload pictures during renovation? Decorate the space as soon as you can and take fresh, high-quality photos.
All the best
thank you @Guy991 , this was helpful
these pictures are temporsry, ill be changing them soon.
Have you done a profit and loss budget for both options to see what's likely to be more profitable @Zoya27
have you looked into supply and demand for short term rentals for your sort of listing?
nope, no
Then you need to do this to help you understand which one is likely to be more profitable @Zoya27
