Do you offer towels to your guest? I make it available but they really don't take care of it. My last guest left the towel full of make up. It was so bad, I threw it out. I did no even bother.
What do you all do?

1. Provide make up removers
2. Certainly not throw the towel away I would just wash it to remove the stains. If you really can't get them out donate to a local animal charity

You could place a pack of makeup remover pads maybe they'll get the hint if they can use something besides your towels. Makeup on towel should wash out very well so just try laundering it first before you throw it out
I learned this the hard way, so now to the following, which saves your towels from make up:
1. I put complimentary make up remover pads, in a jar in the bathroom.
2. I put a dark coloured flannel (face cloth) in the bathroom...one per guest.
I regularly find the flannels have been used, as they are dark, I pop them in the wash and they are good to go again.
This also saves your bedlinen, as it encourages make up removal before bed!!
I don't offer towels, I provide towels, as every host is expected to. They are always used.
Fortunately, we don't have guests who use makeup. They must be more discerning and prefer to look real and natural.
