I would love to hear feedback on my space and my site. Any suggestions?
Hi all, first time potential host here. I have a vintage, spruced-up RV I'd love to host, but I don't have property where I can park it. I'm in New York and would want to host in the Catskills. Has anyone had experience hosting in a park, etc.? What sort of rent/permits would that entail?

Hi @Erica1540
You can certainly list and RV on Airbnb however you would need to have a place for it to be parked. There are many hosts who will park it in their backyard and host it there. You cannot have it so the guest moves it as it needs to stay in one location. I do know there is a website the does have it so people can rent out you RV to take on camping trips but not through Airbnb. I believe one is called Outdoorsy and there are many others I believe.
I hope this helps.

here's how my friends handle it: Guest rents spot in park, etc. Host drives & sets up RV. Host has a limit on how far from his home in case there' a need for him to assist guest with things that may pop up (toilet, lights, other stuff). Host inspects RV while guest is there, and drives/tows RV to next adventure.
It's amazing how many rentals he gets.
This is a really interesting way to rent @Cheryl1169. Does the host pay the fee for the RV to park up?
Do they tend to keep the RV in one location? Or do they have multiple listings? Sorry for my 21 questions 😅
Also Glamping is an applicable booking agency for RV rental besides Airbnb. I would look into a private property maybe bordering a stream or river in a cool town like Phoenicia.
