Hello , if you have a booking for 10 days can you request that they pay for extra cleaning during there stay, so that someone can come in to make sure the property is kept nice

You can add a cleaning fee to your listing price. Right at the bottom of the pricing tab, you will see "additional charges" where you can add a cleaning fee for long and for short stays. This will then apply to all your bookings.

If you want to add a cleaning fee for one particular stay only, you can agree with the guest that the place will be cleaned during their stay (and when exactly this will be, so that they know when to expect the cleaner). You can then use the "request money" feature on the booking to collect the cleaning fee. If you want all stays longer than a specific number of nights to be cleaned during the guest's stay, I think it's best to explain this in your listing so that guests know (before they book) that you want to send a cleaner during long stays.

Whether a guest welcomes a cleaner during their stay will greatly depend on the individual guest. Some will appreciate it, while others may see it as an invasion of privacy or a risk to their property.

Hi !

I require housekeeping after a 7 day stay. It’s stipulated in house rules.  Fresh towels and beddings 😊😊. Guest love it ! I have them pay housekeeping directly.

@Cassie224  Just my opinion. If you are making a mid stay cleaning compulsory then I don’t think it’s OK to charge for that. Giving the guest an option for mid stay cleaning for a fee would be more appropriate. 
I am implementing mid stay cleaning for 2025 for our month long rentals for snowbird season  however this is complimentary.  Guest was also apprised of this at booking. Will see how it goes and hopefully be able lot report back positive outcomes.

Is the cleaning included in the price or is it an extra charge? 

The cleaning is included in the price of my rentals in Germany and Poland, so I would not charge for extra cleaning during a stay.

For one property, I am changing the system to weekly cleaning on a set day (every week), including fresh bed linen and towels.
