Creased Sheets

Creased Sheets

Jusy an exciring tip from my husband.  Haha

Our new dryer has a steam option.

He said he has been turning that on after the sheets are dry.

It doesn't make it have no wrinkles but he said they are relaxed.  He makes the beds and is able to just smooth out.

How fancy @Marie8425! What new features do the dishwasher and stove have? (Hopefully self-loading and self-cooking 😂

Oh, it's really cool.

I had a stupid break in my rejrigerator ice maker and though my appliances were only 5 years old, multiple appliance get a bigger discount and the general rule for nonprofit donations of appliances is 7 years old.

The new dishwashers don't have that stupid heat bar that something plastic falls on haha.  They use hot air.  The new gas syove the oven does air fryer also so bigger and not on my counter.

And of course there is an app to control from your phone.  Haha

I would not dream of making the guest bedding without ironing the bed linens.

I concentrate on  accentuating the ironing creases. Guests like to see that this bed has been made specifically for them and as soon as they fold that doona down, by seeing those creases in the sheets and pillowcases they have confidence that this is a freshly made bed.

It's hard enough to promote cleanliness and attention to detail in an old building, some guests associate old with dirty no matter how much effort you put into it. The bed is one thing where that effort can really show.

I tell every guest not to clean up, just make sure they have all their things when they leave. I don't want to have to second guess what a guest might have used and what they haven't. I don't want to have to pull every glass out of the cupboard in search of that one that might have a lipstick ring on it because it hadn't been washed properly during the service. I want to strip the bedding myself to make sure there are no blood stains, make up, or acne cream on the linens before they go in the wash. I want guests to just leave everything including the garbage so that I can deal with it and not get any 'surprises' from the next guest.

By helping all they are doing is making my job harder!

Cheers.......Rob.

Every listing has a different target.  Since my market is specialty construction workers ironing sheets would gives a more expensive stay then desired.
