Double bed or singles?

Double bed or singles?

Hi

I'm thinking of letting my large guest bedroom out. Currently it has a queen sized sofa bed in it which I'm planning to sell but is it better to get a large double/queen in there or would you get two single beds?

Thank you

Large double queen . Confort is alway a priority 😉

I would also go with two singles gives more options

Ik zou een dubbel bed aanbevelen. Veel comfortabeler voor koppels.

Succes 🍀

I would 100% go for the largest and most comfiest bed you can get/fit.  I would also recommend a really good mattress topper.  I cannot tell you how many guests comment on the comfort of our king size bed, that has a topper that is as thick as the duvet, and how good a nights sleep they get.

good luck

Hi Lois,

I think you can do both.

A double will attact couples and also singles, while 2 singles will attract friends and singles of course.

There is also the possibility to turn 2 single beds into a double via a topper mattres and an ting you put between the 2 beds in the crack. You would need to fix the beds legs together though, and also have room somewhere for the topper.

If you don't like that solution I would go for a double.

Good luck Lise

Salut Lois, un lit Queeen va aller cherche beaucoup plus de clientèles.

I prefer the double or queen route, just because it fills up the space better aesthetically. Often times price doesnt change based on an additional bed, and, for me, the two queens was what I already had. I would not go out and buy extra beds. But that is just me!

I have never contacted or proposed to a tenant like this !

@Lois32 Two Singles bed. For sufre.

Good look!!!!

@Lois32 If it is a really large space and you want to have more sleeping capacity, I would do a queen/full and a twin, if not the King.

@Lois32 I would highly recommend a queen or king size bed with an additional sleeper/sofa.

I wouldn't UK double rooms are normally far too small for two double beds @Kenneth514

@Lois32 I think bigger is better - personally.

However, what is the clientele like in your area?  At the end of the day it comes down to who travels to your parts and the type of guests you want to attract.  Search other Airbnb's and see what they are doing in your town.  If hostels do well in your area, you might do well with the two singles, but you will be attracting hostel clientele/singles or two friends traveling together, not couples.

Eu colocaria uma Queen ou King se o espaço for o suficiente, os hóspedes adoram…

I would go for a King Size bed
