Good tempurature to open the pool to guest

For hosts with pools in their homes in California, at what outside temperature do you normally remove the pool cover? We are new hosts and have not had guests stay at our home with our pool cover off.

It will be about 83 degrees outside this weekend and wondering if we should remove it for our guests that are staying this weekend. I personally would not go in the water at that temperature. Our pool is not heated.
