Guests using extra Linens

I have been an Air BnB host for several years now. This year, more guests than ever have felt free to search through my storage areas and pull out extra towels and sheets and use them. Before this year, there were few guests who did not have manners enough to keep out of the storage areas and just use the sheets and towels they were given. When guests are staying for 1 or 2 nights, it does not seem reasonable for them to use exrta sheets and towels. I wonder if Air BnB might remind guests that they are not staying in a hotel and should not expect hotel linen service. It seems  that the only way we hosts can end this problem would be to put padlocks on the linen storage areas or charge additinal  for the extra linens.

@Judi846 Padlocks sure sound simpler.

@Judi846 I am now having to put a lock on my linen closet for the first time in 10 years. Tired of extra blankets and flat sheets being placed on top of clean bedspreads. What’s up with that?
