Heating

When can I turn the heat off for guests and when to put back on.

@Danny243 turn it off when its warm enough and back on when it gets cold again.

I think there is a law from what they to what day you are required to have heat 

In NY it's 10-01 / 05-31 provided that the outside temperatures do not fall below 55 F and the temperature inside between the hours of 6am-10pm do not fall below 68. When that's the case the heat needs to be on even if it is July. 

 

I always thought it was so silly to have these dates as the temperature is becoming so unpredictable and we had 89F in April and 45F nights in June.

@Danny243 A law to control heating? We don't have that in England which is renowned for its 'nanny state' laws.
