Hi @Carlito6

Try spending a few hours at your property during peak market hours so you can experience firsthand what guests might hear and feel when the area is busiest. Pay attention not only to noise levels, but also to traffic flow, parking congestion, foot traffic, deliveries, and overall atmosphere. What feels “normal” to us as locals can feel very different to a guest who isn’t used to it.

Once you’ve assessed it yourself, clearly mention in your listing description how close you are to the main market area. Proximity to a big market can actually be a selling point convenience, fresh produce, local culture, vibrant energy but it should be presented honestly so guests can decide if it suits their preferences.

If you notice even slight noise, especially during early mornings or late evenings (like vendors setting up, trucks unloading, or crowd chatter), I strongly recommend ticking the “potential for noise” box in your listing. Transparency is key. It protects you from complaints and bad reviews because guests were informed before booking.

The goal isn’t to highlight negatives t’s to set accurate expectations. The right guests will appreciate the honesty, and those who are sensitive to noise can choose accordingly. That’s always better than dealing with a disappointed guest after check-in.

Dear carlito,

The fact that your house Is at a market area for some guests it s a good point, you can say It in your listing after a good description of your place and which services you offer to choice you respect the other airbnbs in the area.

You can enfactise that the location of your apartment it s on a market area so of course it can be a little noisy at night but it s the charm of your city and the market it s a very good place to entertain people and spend good time with friends or just to discover Egyptian local food to enjoy a enogastronomic experience.

focus more also on professional photos of your Airbnb.

The first 5 photos have to evocates a good impression of your place and you can show everything that you offer.

This Is my opinion, of course i don t know your area so it s just my point of view.

Best regards

Andrea

Is the market area noisy all the time, or just at certain times of the day/night?
