If each guest gives you amenities you need to have in your space how you keep pleasing the guest.
You set your Amenities per listing prior to publishing. Guests then review what you have declared if acceptable to them. If not then they look for another listing.
@Shanika12. At beginning of each booking I ask guests if they have any special needs or requests. i do not say wants.
Encourage them to bring what they think is missing and so needed. I have had guests bring their own dog beds and even a coffee machine. Consider how long they are staying and advise where all the shops are.
Your inclusions should reflect your price. Be careful of guests who expect you to provide everything at bargain prices.
Hi @Shanika12 ,
I know how stressful it can be to host guests who wants you to provide almost everything for them. I think you should clearly list out all the things you have in your amenities and refer them back to it whenever the need arises. You also need to set automated messages few days before checking referring them to the amenities again and asking if they have anything they would like to bring over asides what you already have listed out.
I hope this helps somehow
Hello @Shanika12,
@Shanika12 When I started renting, I provided a property with only the items that i considered necessary if I stayed there. I asked my guests for suggestions as to what they would have liked to have during their stay. Most guests were happy and had no comments.
If I did receive a suggestion, I waited until more than one guest asked for the item before providing it. Now I have both Mr. Coffee and Keurig type coffee pots, as well as an electric kettle and a stove-top teakettle. A butter dish with cover is in the refrigerator along with extra ice trays (the freezer has an ice maker too). A bistro table was added to the deck furnishings. A multi-port outlet with surge protection has been installed in two locations to accommodate guest devices.
No, the guests did not get a compost pile. That would attract bears. No, the guests did not get a Cuisinart, an Insta-Pot or a turkey roasting pan. Guests asked for condiments and spices, but after other guests threw those pantry supplies out, suspecting that they were tampered with, I do not provide these items.
