Greetings:
I am looking for ideas regarding an old garage on our property. It is sizable enough to convert into a space for guest usage.
We were thinking of creating a game room (ping-pong, foosball, etc) and charging extra for its use. Another thought we had was to create a nice gathering room for a bridal parties.
That said, we're trying to figure out what to charge for this extra perk. Would you have any ideas on where to start?
Please advise when you can.
Thanks so much.

It really depends on your target audiences @Leigh625 and what other amenities you have in your main listing.
As you mention a room for bridal parties I am presuming the majority of your guests are brides/bridal parties.
Normally in the UK games rooms are included in the price of a listing not charged separately.

Good afternoon, Helen,
Thank you for your input. I'll discuss this with my sister.

@Leigh625 our Airbnb is our old garage just need to get a sewer line and water lines there. Then you can have a studio to rent out full time. HAPPY HOSTING 😀
Hola una pregunta a pesar que tengo la casa completa para que el huésped pueda disfrutar su estadía , podría convertir mi garage en un estudio para una renta tradicional? Eso no va en contra de las reglas de IRBNB ?

Hello @Leigh625
You have a lovely listing! Very well done.
I would improve the garage into a “hang out” space, as you mentioned, with ping-pong, couches, TV, maybe a bar. It could be a nice spot for the grown ups to hang out while the kids play in the yard. I would not charge separately for the space, but would instead increase my rates across the board.
Best of luck!
