Keyless entry in Australia

Hi all.

We have 3 units in Australia and want to add keyless entry on all three.

Does anyone know if they would be air bnb compatible similar to the US and Canada?

Thank you

@Lee-And-Eli0 I would only say that the personal contact and the welcome to the client is the first and the last in this field, which will make him feel familiar and beautiful and safe that he has family with me on his holidays, and tips for local destinations such as Have a great time! Compatible tools will be everywhere and it will work without problems! My knowledge of hospitality!

@Lee-And-Eli0 Keyless entry systems are definitely a great idea for your units! Many of the major brands like August, Yale, and Schlage offer models that are Airbnb-compatible in Australia, similar to what you’d find in the US and Canada. These systems can integrate with the Airbnb platform, allowing automatic code generation for each guest, which streamlines check-ins.

You might also want to consider researching local competitor setups to see what’s working best in your area and ensure you're using the most efficient system.

@Hugo990 @Lee-And-Eli0

I wasn't aware that the integration with Airbnb is available outside of the US and Canada. The help article (perhaps outdated?) still lists only those 2 countries.

This is currently available to certain Hosts with listings in the US or Canada.

Does anyone know where one can find an updated list of countries where smartlock integration is possible?

@Lee-And-Eli0. I also host three listings, all with Schlage Encode smart locks. I never want to integrate with Airbnb as I love the Schlage app. If you search these forums you will find many discussions about pros and cons. One apparent con I believe is that once the times are automatically sent (determined by Airbnb) they cant be changed. So if you have a guest turn up early or they overstayed, went out and are now locked out and you want to let them in remotely you cant. Maybe this will change.

I also know the Schlage app tells you when the lock is low battery, you can add up to 100 codes per lock and vary the frequency to cater for regular cleaners, trades etc as well as the temporary ones for guests. I just like to rely on only one app. And no, I didnt get paid to say this 😉

By the way, Redcliffe is a lovely part of the world.
