we have a potential booking for five days for a wedding - facility is down the street. We have been asked by the mother of the brideif it would be OK for them to host a small rehearsal dinner outside our property. They would have a pizza truck in the driveway and everyone would eat outside.
we have been hosting people for about a year and a half, and this is a first of its kind request..
All the homes are very close together so I’m a bit concerned about impact on a community. Should we find out how many people and how late they’re planning on going? Apologize but say that isn’t allowed?Wondering others thoughts on this

Hi @Victoria2161 ,
Agree with @Mike-And-Jane0 .
in addition:
Does your area have occupancy/permit limitations, parking limitations, noise limitations?
We get asked all the time to host larger 'events' in our home.
We stay away from any of this as we have strict occupancy limits and only parking for 4 vehicles (as per our permit) and we have no street parking in our neighborhood. So even if we were inclined to allow something small there is no way it fits within these parameters. Our area also has noise limitations so things like music outside is an issue for example.
When we are asked we re-iterate our limitations.
And we wish to keep in good standing with our neighbors, as you mentioned, and so it really becomes a tough thing to consider given all this.
Wishing you much success!
@Victoria2161 I suggest you tell them Airbnb doesn't allow parties and that you could lose your ability to list on the platform.

I would run a mile you would have people attending using the facilities of your listing and as it's outside noise that's likely to disturb neighbours.
you can recommend restaurants in your town they could host it in
just say it's against Airbnbs terms and conditions and would invalidate your insurance .
