Resolving a reimbursement request

Hi there,

I have a reimbursement request currently under review for damage caused by guests. They have admitted causing the damage, though I'm not certain if they have declined paying for it.

I have supplied photos and invoices.

It's taking a month so far of back and forwards with the team that handles these requests.

Any idea as to the average time it takes to resolve?

Mine took a few months phone call lots of yelling on my end. We finally settled and all of the guests comments were taken down like he never came here. It was a horrible experience. One I pray will never happen again.

Sorry you had a horrible experience. It's rare as 99.9 % of guests are lovely. What this guest did to my church was insane. The actions of someone out of their mind. I also hope I never have another experience like it.

Hi Bhumika, I have heard just yesterday that Airbnb have approved my reimbursement request for damage caused by guests. They did not tell me when they would pay it. I emailed back immediately, am waiting for an answer still.
