@Cathy1199 Stay in your own Airbnb for a few days, cook some meals, use all of your amenities, and make sure everything is operational and ready to use exactly how you'd want to find it in someone else's place. Also, make your guests feel special in whatever creative ways you can: candy and flowers to greet them, a few snacks, a GREAT guidebook that helps them get around and enjoy the area. Welcome to the forum!  We concentrate on keeping our prices a little below what our local market is charging to promote more bookings.  We clean ourselves to ensure everything is perfect.  We purchased doubles and some tripes of bedding to turn over our space quickly.  We watched many videos on YouTube.  Smart devices like locks, thermostats, and smoke detectors are the only way to go.  Good luck with your AirBnb adventure!
