What makes your listing location truly special?

While booking for a stay, guests often look into the listing location — whether it's surrounded by scenic beauty (mountains or lakes), nearby local attractions or if your listing is located in the heart of the city.  

I'm really curious to hear from our hosts — whether it's a stunning view, rich local culture, or hidden gems that only locals know about! What is special about your listing location?

Hi Bhumika!

Near my listing is a really neat place called Seahurst Beach Park, which has access to both the Puget Sound and forest. 

One of my favorite places in downtown Seattle is the Waterfront Pier, which has recently been renovated and is in the process of further improvements.

I highlight proximity to the area's known and lesser-known things to do for couples and families. I also state how far we are from large event venues that feed our tourism. I highlight proximity to colleges and universities for those parent visits to see their college kiddos.

My short-term rentals are walkable to our charming downtown area, which has been described as a "Hallmark movie" type Main Street. Our community supports small businesses, making the downtown area fun and unique with the variety of shops, dining, and desserts. There is something for everyone, and everyone you meet working at these places likely has typical Southern hospitality.

It's not just about our amenities, views, property, or location—it's about everything. It's the combination.

It's amazing to read how your community values small businesses! Are there any particular shops, restaurants, or dessert spots that your guests rave about or that you personally recommend? I’d love to hear which local businesses stand out.
