Hi I am Emma

I am new to Airbnb and could do with some tips on getting bookings.

I  have had 2 bookings which is great!

I would like to see if people are looking at my listing?

and any advice on my listing, on how it looks.

Criticism accepted.

Statistics about a listing (like "amount of views") can be seen when the "insights" menu is added to your account.

It requires "professional hosting tools" (consult help files for more info).

Thank you for asking this here!

Have you been able to find the views of your listing?

Hi @Emma4799 .. welcome and well done!

Go to your Host Dashboard

On the top right you will see your pic and next to it 4 lines

Select the line icon

This will bring up a Menu with 2 tabs... Earnings and Insights

Select Insights Tab

This will show a Menu bar with the word Views

Select Views

This will show you:

- How many Views that your site has had for the last 30 day

- How many new bookings that you have had in the last 30 days

- Booking rate (conversion % from views to bookings)

This will give you the information that you are seeking.. ie how many views.

I will look at your site and get back to you...

Regards, Graham

Hi @Emma4799

Nice place!

A couple of observations that may assist.

1. Your night rate is high compared with your local competitors. IU have attached  a couple of screen shots to show this...

The first one shows other locations available for the night (the dollars shown are New Zealand dollars but the the relative numbers are what is important). Your rate shows at $413. There is only one other in your area higher..

I note that the rate per night for one person is the same as 5 people staying... and you may have priced the rate to allow for the larger number, but his may be putting off those potential guests driving by $$.

I would suggest that you consider a lower rate for say 3 guests ( a very common traveling number) and add an additional fee per night for extra guests. In this way your search will display a rate.

2. You have the same photograph a couple of times..

3. I would feature more in your photographs features in your local area that would attract guest. Many travelers actually do not know what is around your place.. highlight why they should come.

4. State what the local features are (name and description) and tell how far each is from your place - include supermarkets, pubs and those historical spots they should not miss.

Best wishes on your journey.

Regards, Graham
