On May 1, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced upgrades that will help you simplify communication with your guests, get a better look at your earnings, reorder your photo tour and provide more information on who you’re hosting.Brian also announced better ways to travel together and the extraordinary new experience of Icons.
We invite you to share your questions about these new features in this thread until Friday, May 10th. Our team will compile the top questions, and I will come back to you with answers by the end of the month.

Hi @Christy-Schrader, I always have plenty of feedback about the app & website and never know where to provide it. I have given suggestions via chat and over the phone but I know they never go anywhere. Is this actually a forum to be able to leave feedback that will get to the right team?
As a longtime Host I always appreciate any updates, but do you guys test features and/or design changes with a sample group of Hosts? The new Listing Editor layout, with the categories crammed on the left side of the page in a long column, is good in theory but could use some work (especially if working on a small laptop screen...)
We should at least have the OPTION to switch back and forth to the original horizontal layout or the new vertical layout.
Hope to hear back, and I can offer even more feedback and suggestions. Some things are such simple design fixes but have nagged me for years. Thanks!

messages are better and you are improving the "Income" section after the previous bad changes. Is it possible to restore the original notification sound?

We appreciate your feedback about the Airbnb notification sound.
I really appreciate the new chat UX—it's a significant improvement! However, I've noticed a few minor issues that could use some attention. Specifically, entering reservation details via chat has become more complex; now it takes three clicks from the general inbox (Guest chat -> Details -> Reservation). Though seemingly small, this process is quite time-consuming for hosts.
So, are you considering to go back to the previous Reservation details flow, or the new interface is something you think goes in the right direction from your point of view?
Additionally, I'm hopeful for some minor enhancements to the filters:
It would be helpful to filter by favorites or unread messages without having to choose a category first.
The Archive feature seems quite hidden, and not allow to activate filters.
As for the "iconic" update, it reminds me of the "Night At" campaign that existed in the past. In my survey of hosts, I mentioned that "Night At" was my favorite campaign, so I am really glad to see it come to fruition.
I believe that Airbnb's focus on excitement and adventure is something that I can empathize with and that differentiates the platform from the competitors. I love it! ❤️
I also like the new UI. The new tabs for hosting, traveling, and support for message updates are clearly visible, which is great. The Emoji reaction feature is also great for when I don't need to reply but just want to let my guests know how I feel about it.

Thanks for the update! A question which arises often in our community is: While the guest favorite logo/icon is black, some turned into golden. What are the exact criteria for this, and how can I work on it?
1. Could you consider reimplementing the search by internal name function? At the moment you can no longer search for the internal names of the listings, only for the name of the city or the name of the listing.
2. Could you consider reimplementing again the multiple listings editing? We have more then 100 listing. For hosts like us being able to editing more than one listing at the same time was a very good function.
3. Could you please reimplement the list of listing once you are in the listing editor?
