Hi @Nick-And-DeAnna0, thank you so much for your reply! Just to clarify, is this specifically about the Co-Host Network? Thank you!
Aloha Quincy,
Yes! About being on the cohost network. We been doing it for 10 years. And I filled out all not the location wouldn’t save our area or some reason. We want to put Honolulu or Waikiki. 96815 area code.
Not sure if a glitch. Can you help?
Mahalo!

Hi @Nick-And-DeAnna0, thanks for getting back to me! The Co-Host Network is available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US (except Hawai‘i and the cities of Nashville, New Orleans, and New York). The network will expand to more locations in 2025.
I hope this clarifies!
Quincy
The personalized search options for guests is a great addition! Will there be future updates to help hosts understand which personalized features are driving bookings? This would really help us optimize our listings accordingly.
Best regards,
Karen
Hi @Karen4131, thank you for your question! Could you provide more information regarding your question, or an example, perhaps?
Thank you!
Quincy
Hi @Quincy ,
Thank you for your response! To clarify, I’m wondering if Airbnb will offer any tools in the future that show hosts which personalized search features (like preferences for certain amenities or guest types) are driving bookings. For example, if guests are frequently booking based on a preference for “family-friendly” or “lakefront” listings, it would be useful for us as hosts to know that, so we can better tailor our listings to match those preferences.
Best regards,
Karen
Hi Christy... thank you VERY MUCH for this opportunity!
I see where the Airbnb maps were enhanced to show a listings proximity to key places... but I noticed that the ski slopes are still missing... and that's a VERY IMPORTANT attribute for those of us in Ski Country. It's one of the primary attributes guests are looking for when booking a ski vacation.
It appears to be available on Google Maps, which I believe is the base for Airbnb maps... can the slopes be added to Airbnb maps?
Concur - having the slopes, lifts, and base stations like the Google map is critical for mountain ski towns. Applies to newcomers to town that have no idea where things are located, or even people that have visited in the past but only stayed in one part of town before.
Thanks @Christy-Schrader! I would love some tips or advice on the best way to find potential host to work? As a cohost I absolutely love the new platform! Trying to come up with some ideas of marketing my self and my services to a host, I would love any input from the group! Thanks-Sarah
It's worth noting that in some municipalities, like New Buffalo MI where one of our rentals is located, hiring co-hosts to manage the property would require a change in registration for the STR license. Hosts in jurisdictions that require licenses for STRs will need to be mindful that although the license itself is attached to the home, co-hosts would have to be registered on the license as a "local agent." So co-hosts would also need to submit photos of their driver's license, contact info etc to the local jurisdiction and complete any necessary forms associated with each guest. And if there's a problem and there's a bad review, whose account takes the hit? The co-host or the host's/rental's account? If there's an unregistered car in our driveway, for example, the fine can be as high as $700. Would the co-host be responsible for that fine? If co-hosts are making money, they are a type of property manager, right? In many states property managers are required to have a real estate license. It's hard not to think that this could be a very complicated and expensive situation should something go wrong between a host and co-host. Am I missing something?
Hi...I'm still reviewing all the new features 😊
Price Tips
I really like the new Price Tips feature. That will definitely be helpful; especially for new Hosts
Guest Filters
This is helpful for guests trying to narrow down a search. However, there are several filters that Hosts have been asking for that I didn’t see like:
Remote Cohosts?
Great new features for Hosts/Cohosts! New hosts have a steep learning curve and can definitely prevent some major issues by using an experienced Cohost. This is a win-win for Airbnb and Hosts.
However, I didn’t see anything mentioned regarding remote Co-Hosts? The system seems to only display Cohosts in the listing’s zip code? Remote Cohosts can do everything except on site functions (except physically setting up the listing, cleaning, maintenance). Remote Cohosts can do everything else a new Host needs with a laptop and internet connection. I offer both in person and remote cohosting. I also provide listing optimization services.
Not sure how remote cohosts can be added to the Cohost platform search feature, but I think there are plenty of Hosts who need help with creating the listing itself, photo editing and managing the calendar, guest messaging, reservations and pricing, while the Host handles the in-person tasks themselves, or hiring cleaners/maintenance locally.
Map View
One thing I was hoping to see that many Hosts have asked for is a simple callout on the map view to advise guests they can zoom out/in to see more listings. Since the algorithm change, very successful listings located just outside the major city are not being shown on the initial landing page and by the algorithm. Many guests are not aware they can zoom in/out to see more listings. Many guests don’t mind being a bit further away from the city center, if they can find listings that meet their search criteria. Any chance we will see this "Callout" on the map view any time soon?
Thank you! I look forward to more information as it comes out and seeing how we can help others in our community become great hosts too.
James
