The Superhost program celebrates and rewards Airbnb’s top-rated and most experienced hosts. 

Every 3 months, we review host performance over the past year to see who meets the Superhost criteria. Those who do earn special recognition, dedicated Airbnb Support, and exclusive rewards.

This quarter, we recognized hosts who earned or maintained Superhost status. Congratulations—thanks for everything you do for your guests, and the extra effort you bring to every stay!

Achieving Superhost status for Istaraaha Inn has been all about intention and genuine care for our guests. I’ve found that small gestures, like providing local recommendations and a handwritten welcome note, create the emotional connection that leads to those critical five-star reviews. It’s not just about a place to stay; it’s about making them feel like family.

Consistency is the secret to maintaining this milestone. For me, meeting the Superhost criteria means staying on top of every message with a 100% response rate and ensuring a spotless space every single time—cleanliness is the foundation of guest trust. I also use digital tools to provide clear, step-by-step check-in instructions to ensure a hassle-free start to every stay.

So excited to keep this momentum going! I'm focused on maintaining my Superhost status by constantly enhancing the guest experience and providing the dependable service travelers trust

Thank you! It feels amazing to get this recognition early on. The biggest surprise has been how much fun it is to help my first guest explore the area. He has never been here before, so it has been my absolute pleasure to guide him and recommend local activities!

Has your guest found a favourite place or activity from your recommendations yet?

Good day! 

Yes, he definitely found a favorite! He was a huge fan of the hiking activities during his stay.

He mentioned he's looking forward to coming back to explore even more.

For his return visit, I'm planning to recommend some diverse experiences like the Islamic Civilization Park or perhaps a snorkeling trip to Redang Island to mix things up from his usual hikes.

For me, it’s all about treating every guest as if they were staying in my own home. I focus on fast communication, spotless cleaning, clear check-in instructions, and making sure every guest has everything they need for a comfortable stay.

Whenever an issue arises, I deal with it quickly and professionally because guest experience always comes first. The little details really do make a big difference.

Thank you 😊 I always make sure guests arrive to a spotless, welcoming property with tea, coffee, sugar and a few little essentials ready for them.

I also send clear check-in information beforehand, so they can settle in easily without any stress. I think feeling looked after from the moment they arrive makes all the difference 💯

What a lovely surprise! I didn't know the reward existed. I'm so pleased my attention to detail is recognised by guests resulting in a few return visits and complimentary reviews. I'm retired and my husband and I  have a small flat on a small Scottish island. I travel the 3 hour round trip to clean and set up personally as its my "job". I've had great satisfaction from this.

Hi @Rebecca , a lot of people have fond memories from their childhood of the island. It hasn't changed a lot, which people enjoy and is very peaceful in the winter. If the ferries are on 🤭

I enjoy hosting my guests. beeing host -for me - is more than  just giving a door-code!

I love my home-town Vienna and am glad to give informations one cannot find on tourist-guides.
