I am trying to reach out to support who can give me the reason why my account is pending suspension but i am not getting any response to this matter, every time i call they tell me to wait for the message, any ideas?
Thank you!
Can you clarify?
Are they telling you your Airbnb profile account will be suspended, or one or all of your listings will be suspended?
Whole account.
Airbnb must have included their reasons for removing your account from Airbnb for Terms of Service violations. You don't need to share them here. You should receive an email?
I would file your appeal as indicated in the message.
Joan, i wish that is true, but no no email no reasons and its just generic link with terms , i also messaged them 2 days ago and still no response.
So when you click Start an Appeal what happens?
Instead of using the chat feature on Customer Support, I would call them.
Makes me write a message and submit evidence, i would do it but i don't know what evidence they want, response etc as there is no specific reason.
I did call 5x and every time they say that someone will contact me from different dept. i also contact them on X(twitter) but no luck...
Maybe in your email search for Airbnb ? Make sure you search your Spam Folder. Airbnb is stating you are in violation of your contract agreement. Since that is generally a legal position from Airbnb it would be extremely unlikely that they are not following legal rules, which for any contract if one party is cancelling because violations the other party has to be notified in reasonable parameters. That usually means your email notice was probably sent 24 or 48 hours ago. If you still can not find,
Airbnb Support has been probably not instructed to answer in this situation, most businesses do that to protect themselves in a legal dispute. You can send a message that yolu need notification resent you are unable to find. They probably still won't respond but check your email if resent. If I couldn't find and I agree you need, I would just keep sending the request reasonable time so in this urgency maybe a 2 or 3 hour delay.
There is notification in email but no specific reason.
I would just start the appeal while you are waiting for a reason.
Just say in the appeal: I wish to appeal, but have not been given specifics about what terms of service I violated?
I am afraid if i do that they decline it and then i am in trouble as there is no 2nd chance.
No one is able to cancel a contract even for a breach without telling other parties to the contract. Search your emails for a prior notification If you can not find be clear to Support you are seeking a resend of notification that states Airbnb violations notice to you. That is a contract standard not a size of company or a country standard.
Every time i click on those terms that they link to email takes me here
11. Airbnb Platform Rules. 11.1 Rules.
But there are so many and nothing specific.
Before you received this email, were there any prior disputes raised by the guest or any cases escalated to Airbnb’s Safety Team?
I’ve also just noticed a recent 1-star review from a guest claiming the property is “hazardous” due to snow not being cleared on the pathways leading to the entrance.
Are you sure there were no safety issues raised by guests or lower ratings from guests .
if this happened Airbnb normally asks for a response before moving on to suspend your operation.
