I would like to help a friend who is starting a short-term rental business in Quepos, Costa Rica. Before getting started, he would like to get information about taxes, regulations (licensing requirements, etc.), and some practical advice for the region.

Is there anyone in the community familiar with Airbnb in Costa Rica who could give us some advice?
