Airbnb canceled my booking and unlisted

Hi all, I’m so lost and confused and so upset.

me and my family opened our home up as an air BNB and everything has been going great!

we had a guest check out on the 12th, and on the 12th we got someone who was wanting to book. I confirmed it and told her that we would be able to take the reservation only if she was okay with a 5pm check in. She said sure.

she showed up at 7:58pm, checked in, had no suit case or anything just a big green shopping bag. And was in the house until 9:20. She left changed, in her pajamas. No notice of any issues from the guest or Airbnb

today, the 13th I received an email from Airbnb that my payout was en route.

tonight, I decided to check my Airbnb app, and noticed that my listing said unlisted, and the guest name says “canceled by Airbnb” I called and the first guy said that he didn’t see anything at all, and that there should be zero issues he thinks it’s a bug. I then hung up, and re saw that the guest was canceled. No phone call from Airbnb or anything.

I called back and they said that I should be getting an email from Airbnb soon as they can’t help me with this. I cannot believe that they can’t give me any insight or information.

I made it super clear on my listing that I have a certain number of cameras outside, including a doorbell etc.

I can’t believe the guest 1. Didn’t reach out to me, but 2. Airbnb didn’t reach out at all. I had no idea. The whole time my front door had been unlocked, thinking the guest is still there.

has anyone had experience with this before? I’m so upset. I can’t believe that Airbnb didn’t even call to let me know I had to figure it out on my own. I almost feel like I got scammed by the women. I truly think that she just wanted a place to change, shower and keep it moving. Or she got a call from Airbnb to leave.

any insight to anything would be helpful. I can’t believe that Airbnb won’t advise anything to me over the phone.

@Anthony2044 I am afraid you will just have to wait until the safety team get to your case. There will have been a violation or alleged violation of one of the rules.
