Airbnb won’t enforce unpaid pet fees

The new (ish) toggle on airbnb to include a per-pet fee is nice (kind of), but for hosts that charge a per-night per fee, it’s still not helpful. 

In this instance, a guest stayed for over a week and had 2 pets. $15/pet, per night added up to almost $300, which I know if unreasonable, so we sent a flat fee request of $150. The guest refused to pay through the resolution center.  

airbnb is refusing to enforce our pet fees and sent this [infuriating] response:

@Crystal534 Why wasn't this fee charged up front when people arrived, with the two pets? If they won't pay it, they can't stay. Airbnb need not even be involved, which I am sure they welcome.
