Amenities - adding manually

Is there a way to add custom amenities to the suggested menu items that AirBnB provides?

@John9587 no there isn't. Nor should there be. The concept of an amenity list is so that guests can search for a specific requirement. If Airbnb allowed every host to define their amenities the search list would be over populated and unworkable. Just because one host has a croquet lawn doesn't mean said amenity should be added to the list.

I hope all is well. Your croquet lawn suggestion is a great example, but since existing amenities in the list already include things like a hockey rink, laser tag, and a skate ramp, I think a croquet lawn would be a solid addition too. I doubt there are fewer listings with croquet lawns than there are with hockey rinks.

Hi John,

Great idea! It would be nice if they would provide that but as I am aware they do not. I have some amenities that would love to add myself.

They don't even provide shower except outside which has caused grievances with out guests and hosts alike.

If you are adding amenities manually, I’d suggest keeping the names consistent and checking each entry before saving. A simple format makes them easier to manage later. I usually keep Y888 Game in mind as a useful option for casual gaming discussions too.

Add each amenity with a clear name and check that it displays correctly before saving. I’ve also been seeing Slots PK Game mentioned in similar discussions, so it may be worth checking if you’re looking at related options.
