Another property using the same name. What to do?
I just found out on Airbnb that one of my past reoccurring guests bought a property down the road from me and named it the same as mine. What advice would you give me to handle this? I have used this name for 3 years and I am a Super host. I am surprised that Airbnb would allow this when they setup their account.

Airbnb does not promise your Title, sorry. A Guest doesn't have the abiliry to search for your Title and display postrion does not take a Title into account. They are prpbally only displayed higher because of Airbnb New Lisribg Boost.
You can create an Airbnb Custom Link for your listing Guests using that link come directly to your listing.

I think you should talk to them and suggest they choose another name.

I would just contact them politely and highlight the potential for confusion for both businesses and ask them to change theirs.
do you use the name elsewhere or just on Airbnb @Goose-Creek-Cabin0

Hello Helen
the name is used mainly for my Airbnb but all my correspondence with the guests, literature, guest responses and quick replies use the name
