Blow up pool/slide

I have a guest who wants to bring a large blow up pool/slide. Not sure if that would be a good idea. What have other hosts done when asked. Thank you!

Where would it go? Could it ruin grass? Is your water on a fixed rate ?

@Helen3 In backyard. Maybe? No, water is not on a fixed rate so that’s an issue also.

In addition to @Helen3 questions: what about safety issues and liability insurance on this contraption? What about noise and neighborhood being bothered?

We have homeowners insurance but, yes that is a concern. Neighbors a good distance away so probably wouldn’t hear just 2 children playing.

Do please fi d out if your homeowners policy covers business use. Ours does not, so we have to have a business policy. Our homeowners policy would be cancelled, said our agent.

I’d kindly decline that request. Large inflatable pools or slides can damage the grass or landscaping, cause water runoff problems, and pose safety or liability risks if someone slips or gets hurt. They also consume a lot of water and often leave the area muddy or messy afterward.
