Calendar function

I'm new to hosting and am having trouble setting the calendar.  I had to cancel someone's booking because those dates were showing as available but are not.  Now, I can't seem to block them in my calendar since the cancelled reservation is still showing.  How do I block those dates?

@Elizabeth2327 if you cancel a booking then Airbnb automatically block the dates to punish you. I guess the dates are blocked and so don't need blocking! 

Perhaps pretend you are a guest and see if the dates in question are available or not.
