Cancel Booking
Hello I recently got notice that my list can no longer accept less than 30 days. So I had to cancel my upcoming guest. I was then notified that I would be charged a fee for cancelling - this was beyond my control as the government over reach changes the rules from day to day.
I am asking that this fee by waived as I suspect the guest found alternative host.
Thanks Kindly
Mary Ellen

Hi @MaryEllen3
Contact Airbnb Support if you have a screenshot or document (from the local government or Airbnb’s own notification) confirming the new rule, attach it to strengthen your case.
Airbnb typically waives cancellation penalties for regulatory or safety compliance issues once verified.
