Cancellation policy

It would be great if Airbnb could allow you to select dates where different booking terms apply.

I get lots of bookings for August in Q1/Q2 from people who want to book ahead and block dates, but then cancel just before any penalty would apply.

yea I know I could have bookings on firm but that would limit bookings. I would prefer to say between July 20th and August 30th it’s firm (no cancellation without penalty) but all other times it’s flexible. It would stop so many cancellations.

Yes, you can actually do this directly from your calendar. Simply tap on the dates you’d like to update, and you’ll have the option to choose your preferred cancellation policy for those specific dates.

 

Here is a photo screenshot from my calendar on Airbnb App. Just tap on the dates then custom settings
