Go to the web version www.airbnb.com on a browser so long. This will allow you to send urgent messages, and then you'll have time to troubleshoot the app afterwards.
I tried but it kept changing to .co.uk so I still can't message or review or anything.
@Julie6619 it's terrible if your web and app are both affected. Have you tried Rebecca's advice above? It has helped for many people with a wide variety of technical issues in the past.
